La edición # 7 de Bogotrax – ResistenciaS/ Redes-Y-Circuito s – invita a todos los artistas y creadores de Bogotá, o de cualquier lugar de Colombia, a que participen de esta convocatoria abierta, dirigida a:

- ingenieros de sistemas
- diseñadores
- artistas plásticos
- pintores
- grafiteros
- artistas callejeros
- malabaristas
- performadores del espacio e interventores de las mentes
- productores musicales, dj´s, directos (“live sets”)
- video-artistas o vj’s

para que envíen sus propuestas o trabajos con los que quieran participar en esta edición del festival al siguiente contacto:

Bogotrax, ResistenciaS, festival de artes y músicas electrónicas se reúne con toda su descarga del 11 al 21 de febrero del 2010.

La fecha límite para la recepción de propuestas y trabajos es el 11 de diciembre del 2009, cuando cerraremos esta convocatoria con un evento y una transmisión simultánea del mismo entre varias ciudades, para ir probando las resistencias de todas las redes y circuitos de este aparato de nervios, fibras y frecuencias.

The brothers Aleinikov worked in the “Parallel Cinema” of filmmakers in Soviet Russia to produce subversive independent films like this one outside of the canon of the institutional studio system.

SUPER GIRL & ROMANTIC BOYS

This unusual band started in late 90s as an idea of return to the spirit of 80s music.
Few persons connected with the alternative music scene of Warsaw had a thought that life in their neighbourhood becomes more and more boring and plastic, people drawn in alienation, don’t talk to each other on the partys, and the brainwashed techno dictatorship is ruling everywhere… bla bla bla
Kostek (before playing in punk band The Leszczers, postpunk Ameba and industrial Najakotiva), the singer Eva and the disco dancer Maciek wanted to start“brutal romantic” 80s style music&dance&alcohol band. The same people in 1998 played as “2000 Dirty DJs” vinyl records of old polish 80s hits in the squat in old fortress in Warsaw. Now they wanted to hear this stuff alive, so they began to play.

First concert appeared in the winter of 1999.

The songs based on the inspiration of horror-sweet-synth pop of the nuclear age (especially from the Eastern Europe) with the unhappy love lirycs. The sound went from the Casio synthesizer for kids and the drum machine, mixed with romantic rock guitar solos and early pre punk/glam spirit.

Important part of the show was two shakin disco dancers in glam jackets, the rest of the band had vampire make ups and new romantic style wear.

A brand new, recently-recorded track by A Murder Of Angels has been edited and set to video by Bryin Dall. “Oozing Into Obsidian” takes the worlds within lava lamps as inspiration for its slow-moving, deep and watery soundscape.
