BOGOTRAX 2012 : EL PRINCIPIO DEL FIN // THE BEGINNING OF THE END
Bogotrax 2012 “El principio del fin” hace un llamado a aquellas manifestaciones artísticas que se identifican con la cultura electrónica y la cultura libre, dispuestos a celebrar en torno a la música electrónica: músicos, productores, artistas visuales, performers, desarrolladores y creadores con herramientas libres, recicladores, dispuestos a compartir conocimiento, interesados a participar en la novena edición de este Festival.
Este es un festival autogestionado y de entrada libre, lo que no nos permite realizar grandes montajes. Es por eso que la suma de acciones de sus participantes es su real fuente de financiación. Sin animo de lucro ni auspicios, este festival necesita para su realización que cada uno los participantes -en la medida de lo posible- colabore con todos los materiales suficientes para llevar a cabo sus acciones (cables, instrumentos, conectores…etc). Bogotrax, abre los espacios, la convocatoria y difusión, de este espacio de todos y para todos.
Bautizado como “El principio del fin” en el 2012 este festival invoca a la experimentación entorno a la conciencia eco…Pintela como quiera.

Bogotrax 2012 “The beginning of the End” makes a call to all artistic manifestations that identify with electronic and free culture, willing to celebrate around electronic music. Musicians, producers, visual artists, performers, hacktivists, workshop facilitators, presenters, street artists, scholars, free software developers, digital recyclers, and every individual and collective concerned with DIY (Do it Youself) ethics and actions, and culture of resistance, interested of being part of the 9th edition of this festival.
Bogotrax is an independent, self sufficient free festival based on DIY ethics, that operates on the logic of summing efforts of its members and collaborators. This means that there is not monetary profit for anyone or any corporate sponsorship, in order to maintain our independence. So, we ask every person willing to participate in the festival -to the extent of their abilities- to collaborate with the technical resources to achieve their actions (cables, instruments, connectors, etc.) Bogotrax open the spaces, the call for entries, the publicity and the good vibes of this celebration of all and for all.
